Lake Erie Wine Country

Relax, Refresh, Unwind…

Lake Erie Wine Country is located between Harborcreek, Pennsylvania and Silver Creek, New York. With only a handful of stop lights from beginning to end, your drive through almost 50 miles of vineyards in Lake Erie Wine Country will transport you to a bygone era, where people are friendly, and sleepy, quaint Victorian towns are calm and inviting. Along the way you’ll enjoy stopping at any or all of our 22 wineries to sip, swirl and savor the true taste of our region.

Tour Wine Country:

Thanks for your interest in touring Lake Erie Wine Country. We do not offer "tours" per se, and there is no charge to visit our wine region. What we have is 22 wineries on a 50-mile stretch between Silver Creek, NY and the town of Harborcreek, PA. The wineries are open year-round, 7 days a week (for the most part). Most (but not all) of the wineries charge a small tasting fee per person. This is usually only $1 - $5. Out of those, some return your fee off the price of a bottle of wine if you purchase.

Look at the wineries on our website and decide what part of the trail you want to visit, then you can map it out on our handy dandy Trip Planner here:

PLAN A TRIP

It will email you directions to each winery according to how you arrange them. (Note that at this time, our Trip Planner works best on a desktop computer.)

All you need to do is decide which wineries you want to visit then show up and have fun. The wineries do request that you call ahead and make reservations in advance if you have a group larger than 8 people.

PLEASE READ THIS ARTICLE IF YOU PLAN ON VISITING OUR WINERIES WITH A GROUP.

For more details regarding our Large Group Policy please click the button below:

Large Group Policy

For a large group, you MUST make arrangements ahead of time at each winery you will visit. They will have to schedule extra staff, prepare more product, make space, etc., so this is very important. You can also arrange any tasting fees, etc. with each winery ahead of time, so you can show up prepared and make each visit run very smoothly.

As far as scheduling, we ask that you avoid our ticketed event weekend Saturdays. In 2017, those dates are: April 22, November 4, November 11, and North East WineFest Weekend, September 23. Otherwise, just make reservations for any other date and the wineries will be happy to accommodate you.

NOTE: The wine trail does not arrange or provide transportation.
