21 Brix Winery Presents
Beats at the Brix Music Series
6654 West Main Road Portland, NY 14769
Website

7:00 - 9:00pm

Join all your friends at 21 Brix Winery on the last Saturday of every month for their monthly music series, Beats at the Brix.

Mick Hayes melds our history, our present, and creates the future of the blues genre with his somehow familiar yet innovative sound influenced by styles from across America. Mick spent most of his career playing in and between Nashville, Los Angeles, and Atlanta until his love of his hometown brought him back to Western New York and the rich, gritty music culture there. He continues to perform both in front of tens of thousands and in intimate settings.

Mick has played with countless greats, not the least of which Stevie Wonder - who after hearing Mick, asked if he would join him on stage to sing with him and add a little harmonica to Mick's "Those 3 Words". He has also been billed alongside great artists such as Deep Purple, The Doobie Brothers, Peter Frampton, Dickie Betts, Delbert McClinton, Robin Trower, Cheap Trick, Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, Joe Bonamassa, Najee, Los Lonely Boys and many others.

Having been recognized by The Grammy Awards Committee in 2016 in the "Best Traditional R&B Performance" and "Best R&B Song" categories for his single, "For Realski's," Mick is looking forward to what the future brings.

Admission for the evening is free, but a wine purchase is required. The winery also has hot and cold foods available for purchase.

21 Brix Winery is located at 6654 West Main Road in Portland, between Westfield and Brocton on Route 20. Look for the pink elephant near the road! For more information about this event, call the winery at 716.792.2749.
